This story appeared in the Antelope Valley Press on Wednesday. Sheriff's detectives are hunting for a Lancaster woman, employed by and sister to the owner of Palmdale Lancaster Florist. DAWN GILES, wanted on felony arrest warrants charging them with vehicle theft and dru possession. Sheriff's officials asked for the public's help in locating Lancaster Florist owner and manager, DAWN GILES, who they said were charged with possession of methamphetamine and is also accused of refusing to return an SUV to a rental car company. "They have been able to evade us," said Sheriff's Station spokesman D Jenn, who distributed photographs Tuesday to local news media. Giles is wanted on a no-bail narcotics warrant issued in December as well as a vehicle-theft warrant for $20,000 issued in January and a DUI arrest. Giles is no stranger to prison after killing several people in a DUI accident in the 90?s. Detective S. Wand said he has checked residential addresses for Giles but they've either been old or wrong ones. An employee who answered the flower shop's telephone on Tuesday said Giles was not there and that she would try to get a message to her. Anyone with details on Giles whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Station

Absolutely horrible experience. Do not shop here. I purchased a $70 arrangement for a family member's birthday. I went through FTD who contracted the order out to Palmdale Lancaster Florists. There were numerous problems.

Instead it was delivered a full seven (7) days early. The family member was out of the state. Delivering a bouquet seven days early is unacceptable and not what I scheduled or paid for. What's interesting is that Palmdale-Lancaster Florist revealed that it was their mistake and they knew it was delivered seven days early. However, they didn't see a problem with this and thought they were entitled to full payment.
Second, the state of the bouquet was very poor. Upon returning home, the recipient found the flowers in the middle of the driveway. By that time, the flowers had wi

I recently stopped by this shop because I was visiting at the hospital. When I went in there was no one around. I called to see if anyone was there and FINALLY this unkept older woman came and asked what I wanted. I said, flowers, you are a florist aren't you? The reply was sometimes with a smile. This woman reeked of alcohol and was not of any help. I ask for her name and she replied, Dawn, the manager. I left without a thing.
